and I agree that there is some element of humour to them but like… most of them I read and smiled but then I was like “wait is that supposed to out of the ordinary and shocking?”

Agreed. I mean, I get the sentiment…

But Matt brushes my hair every night by his own volition and he will commonly comment on makeup/beauty products. I mean, I don’t think he would be like this with someone else out of the blue, and I’m sure it sprung from being around me and my interests so much..

All the same, though, my relationship with “my man” encompasses these concepts with a fair amount of ease.
