If she had tried with all her might, she couldn’t have looked more beautiful.
Today was Katie’s wedding. It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony. Her dress couldn’t have been more “Katie”. The chapel couldn’t have been more perfect. And Matt and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the groom (who did not smash cake her face - Thank God!).
I’ve known this girl for nearly 13 years.. She was my first real friend in Kentucky when we moved here! And I’ve never seen her this happy. This was the first wedding (outside of my own) that I’ve cried at.. And I cried the whole time we were there (before, during, reception, after… now. haha). For whatever reason, this entire experience has really hit home. And I’m just so happy for Katie (and Cory). And wish them all the best.
It was such an honor to be a part of her (their!) day. It was fun to do makeup and to help out “behind the scenes” with dresses and the like. But I, also, know that not many people were invited to be in attendance. And I feel very blessed to be counted within that small number.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Snyder! Truthfully, I could not be happier for you. <3 I’m so looking forward to getting to know Cory. And to enjoying being young newlyweds together.
Sweetest wishes. And Happy Honeymoon! <3
Matt and I are going car-hunting again tonight! So excited about all the possibilities ahead!
No… No. It’s a lie!
DESPAIR. WE ARE IN IT.
Car hunting SUCKS. It really, really, REALLY does..sucks hard. CAR HUNTING IS LIKE THE HOOVER OF THE SHOPPING WORLD.
But at least we have Tastykakes.
Well, we had Tastykakes.. I may have eaten the last one.. So, really, this doesn’t look like a promising night.
I cannot even tell you how many N64 games I have found while going through the last few boxes in our bedroom.
And one of them isn’t even his! For shame, husband..
Tsk tsk tsk…
I’m sure Brent misses his game (whoever he is).
